SKIDO is helping community towards equitable and sustainable development:

Shahi Khyber Imamabad Development Organization established in 1998 as an umbrella organization of the Village Organizations (VOs) and Women Organizations (WOs) of Khyber-Hunza. Not for profit organization, working for sustainable development of the rural community, SKIDO aimed to promote social and economic growth, women empowerment, Youth Development, Community Wildlife conservation, Skills development, sports and recreational initiatives. Furthermore SKIDO in close coordination with allies organizations, Shahi Khybr-Imamabad Welfare Organization, Dewan Agriculture Society and Khyber Thrift & Credit Society is working for the betterment of the rural community of Khyber-Hunza.

Chairman’s Message

 It gives me great pleasure to acknowledge and acquaint you all that our organization Shahi Khyber Imamabad Development Organization which has manifested its development impact in Khyber-Hunza Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan.  The development initiative boundaries include Community Wildlife Conservation, women empowerment, entrepreneurship, wildlife conservation, Health, Education, youth development, advocacy, Sports and recreational activities.

Through years of experience, the Khyber-Hunza community learned that muti-sectoral approach is the key to enhance the quality of life of people in the region and we are striving and progressing towards that objective. Investing in Skills Development, Natural Resource Management, Income generation, Capacity development, Youth development, Women Empowerment and Village Development plan, will remain the priority areas of SKIDO. This can happen when communities, civil society organizations, government and private organizations synergize to gear their efforts towards development.

Let us be committed to work for the betterment of future generation and May Almighty Allah grace us with his blessings to continue our efforts in achieving our objectives.
