Shahi Khyber Imamabad Welfare Organization:
SKIWO is registered entity, operational since 1995. This organization deals with the day to day management of the village activities/operations. This includes water supply management, repair and maintenance work of irrigation channels, tracks, drinking water supply, and Sports ground maintenance and other related work, collecting fee, penalties and resolve disputes among community members.
Village Organizations/Women Organizations:
The village organizations (VOs) and women organizations (WOs) were formed in early 1980s. Villagers started saving Rs.2/week and used this as a means to mobilize grassroots men and women for community development. These organizations now have significant saving amount and they use it for internal lending, children’s education and health related matters, as per their needs.
Credit and Thrift Cooperative Society:
In 2016, Khyber Credit and Thrift Cooperative Society Limited was established. Though this initiative, a significant number of villagers are supported with their business initiation, expansion and growth through loaning. The lending area includes business, Education and Health.
Rural Women Vocational Organization:
Rural women Vocational Organization was established in 2018. The basic objective of this vocational Centre is to give a platform to women of Khyber to get training in different vocational skills. Along with trainings, the center’s purpose is to develop and flourish the skills, so as to make them part of the economic stream at the household level. The center is operational and women members prepare caps, wall hanging, cushion set and number other product to market locally and nationally.
Dewan Zari Cooperative Society:
This cooperative society was established in 2020. Its objective is to facilitate the community in agriculture development. They facilitate in access to Agriculture related finance, capacity building, value addition development and processing.
