Heritages are the full range of our inherited traditions, monuments, objects, and culture. Most important, it is the range of contemporary activities, meanings, and behaviours,

that we draw from them. Heritage includes, but is much more than preserving, excavating, displaying, or restoring a collection of old things. The tangible means our historical sites, buildings, monuments, objects in museum artefacts and archives. The natural means our waterways, landscapes, woodlands, bogs, uplands, native wildlife, insects , plants, trees, birds, and animals. The intangible means our customs, sports, music, dance, folklore, crafts, skills and knowledge.
